Summary
Learning about illustrator was very interesting because of its similarities and differences to photoshop. At face value, illustrator doesn't seem like a hard program to work with. And, in this case, it wasn't a hard program to work with. Most of the work we did on illustrator went fairly smoothly whether it was putting a logo on my keychain or simply typing our names to create a vinyl cutout. Although there are probably many nooks and crannies within illustrator, it is a very user friendly program that is also easy to pick up. It really amazes me how precise vector images are. Because vector images are made of shapes and lines, they never distort or pixelate which is super nice when you are trying to make a clean logo or precisely laser print. The laser printing process was breezy as well as it only took a few steps before we had printed a fully functional keychain.
